St. X High School is pleased to extend this invitation to your school’s boys and girls cross country team(s) to participate in the 2021 TIGER RUN. It will be held at Louisville Champions Park (formerly the Old River Road Country Club) on Saturday, August 28, 2021. The course is flat and fast.
This year we are pleased to announce the addition of Elementary races to the Tiger Run. As a result, the running order of events has changed from years past, with HS starting first younger grades following. With the expansion of the grade school races, we have eliminated the Freshman race.
Entries are limited to the first 35 schools in each race.
In the Middle School & Elementary divisions, a team consists of up to 7 runners, scoring the first 5 finishers. Middle School is considered to be grades 6-8.
The Elementary divisions will consist of a Grades 4-5 mile race, then a K-3, 1200m race.
In the High School division, a team may consist of up to 10 runners, scoring the first 5 finishers.
Teams are limited to one varsity team per gender, except under special circumstance.
With no Freshman race this year, we are allowing schools to enter more than 2 teams in the JV division. Seniors may run in the JV races. Each competitor can run in only one race.
As in previous years, Chip timing will be used with updated results posted through Milesplit Live.
